The Seed Bead Project was developed in 2009 and quickly became an avenue to help sustain NACHU.

The Seed Bead Project began as those working with Nurture A Child Uganda started collecting local seeds and experimenting with how to craft the seeds into necklaces.

Each piece of jewelry has a unique design, as the seeds are dyed various colours and strung together with glass beads and beads made from recycled paper.

Over the past few years, NACHU has developed their creativity and released new designs that are high quality, unique and breath-takingly beautiful.

As NACHU progresses in 2013, we have plans to develop a  jewelery making outreach at NACHU.  This will allow James and Norah to share their passion and skills in jewelery making with local women.  Our dream is to hire Ugandan women to make the jewelry, offering sustainable work to their families as well as support for NACHU.

The jewelry project has blessed us with the opportunity to share NACHU with thousands of women.  Praise God!
